About Cleave Energy

Established in 1984 Cleave Management has been involved with
both commercial and residential Design/Build projects.

In the last 10 years we have begun to focus on green building
techniques (i.e. peat septic systems, ICF construction, straw-bale
construction, and renewable or high efficiency energy systems).
In 2006 we did our first solar project and and created Cleave
Energy in 2008.

With over 900 kW of solar power installed and several
megawatts under contract Cleave Energy is a leader in
the Ontario solar industry.

Our expertise and financial capability allow us to handle large
and small projects with ease. Our history and diversity ensure
that we will be here for the long term.

Corporate Structure

Cleave Energy is Ontario's solar leader. We specialize in solar photovoltaic (Solar PV) installations that include residential solar, agricultural solar and commercial solar systems. Cleave Energy carries, Solyndra, Sharp, Sanyo, Suntech, SunGen, DelSolar, Siliken, as well as Enphase, SMA and Sunergy Inverters and a wide range of racking.

The Ontario governments Feed In Tarriff (F.I.T.) program has created an extraordinary opportunity to maximize returns from an investment in solar panels. FIT consists of two categories; FIT (for projects over 10 kW) and microFIT for projects that are 10 kW and under. MicroFIT projects pay a guarranteed rate of $0.802/kWh over a 20 year contract. Given the cost of solar panels today this rate can result in a return on investment of 15% to 20%.
